Girls' Day Out

This last Friday, the girls around here in Lance's family all went on a fun little outing.  Well, there was one boy, little J.  But since he's so little, it was okay.  :)  Our main destination was Gardner Village to look at the witch displays.  We started at IHOP to get the kids a scary face pancake.  Then, we visited Lance's grandpa.  Then, we got to Gardner village.  Afterward, we hung-out at Lance's sister, Melissa's house for a bit.  It was a blast!

 Visiting Grandpa Ladle.

The kids had fun playing under the table at Grandpa's place.  They loved grabbing everyone's feet.

Olivia and Savannah are buds.  They loved posing for me at Gardner Village!

So stylish girls!

One of the stores at Gardner Village had a bed set named Michelle.  My sister-in-law and I are both named Michelle!  Sometimes it gets confusing with two Michelle Wellings!  But it's mostly fun!

Olivia zonked out in the car!  What a day!

Autumn Leaves

This past Sunday, Lance and I took Lance's mom and brother, Blake on a drive over Avon.  We loved seeing the beautiful Fall leaves. On our way back, we stopped in Mantua for a picnic.  Then, we drove through Brigham City and saw the progress that is being made on the temple there.  Here are some pictures:

Orlando!!!

This past week, Lance had another opportunity to travel for work.  He went to Orlando, Florida!!!  He went there for a special training for a software his work uses.  It was a REALLY fancy forum at a resort.  It was the same company that held the training at the resort in San Antonio last year.

Since it was at a resort, it was super fancy.  He had a very nice room with a balcony, turn down service, and the software company that did the training paid for most of his meals (and activities).  He also had access to the enormous pool area for his free time that included a lazy river.

He was served some local cuisine which included alligator, oyster soup, and octopus.  He said that both the alligator and the octopus were very chewy.

For one of the evenings he was there, the forum rented out a section of Universal Studios.  He was able to ride a selection of four rides and eat whatever he wanted in that section all for free.  Can you believe how spoiled he is?  The rides he was able to ride were, Twister, Shrek 4-D experience, The Mummy Returns, and the Rip Rocket roller coaster.  He enjoyed all of them, but rode The Mummy Returns twice, and the Rip Rocket three times.  They were both roller coasters, but the Rocket one was an EXTREME roller coaster.  I'd probably freak out on it.

So, he had a great week.
