My Little Old-Fashioned Piece of Heaven

I haven't been able to be online very much the past couple of weeks, because we have moved! We bought a house about two blocks away from where we were living before. It's a cute little house, built in 1927. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so there is plenty of growing room ;) Because it was built in 1927, it is very old fashioned.

My favorite part is the chandelier in the dining room. I'm thinking it was an original with the house, so it would probably be worth a ton if I took it to the Antiques Roadshow.

We've mostly moved in. I just have a few decorating readjustments to perform, and the computer room/craft room is an absolute disaster area, but other than that, we're home!

The pictures I'm posting are from when the house was empty (before we closed), but I will update more pictures once my house is entirely put together. I'm not showing you the basement yet, because it's hard to get the full effect of our movie theater room without the big screen TV :) (We call it the movie theater room because of the crazy red carpet that looks like it belongs in a theater.)

Our cute little home.

Our dining/living room. Look at the chandelier!!!!

Our kitchen.

One of the rooms upstairs. The ceiling is super short on the sides! (We made this a playroom)

Our backyard. This is Lance's favorite part. :)
